Our kennel was built with the dogs in mind!

German Shorthaired Pointers are people dogs. They are versatile hunters, an all around gun dog capable of high performance in field and water, excellent watchdogs and make good family pets. They are reliable with children and require exercise.

Our kennel has outside runs and each dog has access to an inside box.  Inside the kennels are heated and air conditioned!  We have a fenced two-acre play yard.  All our dogs are let out in the morning for a two hour free play session.  We feel this is important for their socialization.  While they run and play, all kennels are washed and sanitized!  Late in the afternoon, we also give the dogs another two hour free play session.  In between free play is when “serious” training takes place.

We work with each of our dogs individually at their own pace .  We have found that with patience and kindness we can produce dogs that are both excellent hunters and terrific family pets.

We are a Licensed Designated Dog Training Area.

Our facility has 10 acres of grass fields, and natural prairie habitat that we utilize for our training fields.

We also have two ponds to work water retrieves and to allow for “free swimming”. 

We use pheasant and quail as our birds for training.
